Absentee walk-in voting for the 2014 primary election begins today and runs through Thursday, Aug. 7, at four locations on the Big Island.
Walk-in voters must be at least 18 years old, registered to vote and must show valid identification.
Absentee walk-in polling places and hours are as follows:
— County of Hawaii Aupuni Center conference room, 101 Pauahi St., Suite 1, Hilo; Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
— West Hawaii Civic Center community room, Building G, 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy., Kailua-Kona; Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
— Waimea Community Center, 65-1260 Kawaihae Rd., Waimea; Monday through Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.-noon.
— Pahala Community Center, 96-1149 Kamani St., Pahala; Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-noon and 1 p.m.-3 p.m.
Primary election day is Saturday, Aug. 9.
